Una flotta grigia di piccoli pescherecci commerciali è ormeggiata lungo un molo di lavoro, alberi spogli e antenne radio irte come una foresta che non mette mai le foglie. Questa è l'estremità operativa di Fisherman's Wharf, di quando il molo significava ancora pescatori, e le barche che tiravano su sebaste e granchi erano il senso stesso del quartiere, non uno sfondo per esso.
