5人のスキーヤーが赤いスーツと白いコロニアルヘルメットで統一された服装で航跡を横切っている。この服装は、スポーツマン的でありながら、かすかに植民地的に見えたいと望むあらゆるウォータースキーグループの制服だった。アウトボードモーターボートの誰かが、1本のロープでスキーヤー5人全員を牽引していた。この曲芸には完璧なタイミング、同等のスキルレベル、そして前の者が落ちないという完全な信頼が必要だった。
