Alguém na cabine do caminhão lá embaixo tinha uma câmera carregada e a disciplina de mantê-la lá, porque o anoitecer sobre um aeródromo era quando o tráfego real se movia. Um Huey entra baixo contra o azul que desaparece, o rotor desfocado pela sua própria velocidade, fazendo a mesma rota que fazia todas as noites, independentemente de alguém estar lá para anotar.

The historian's note

A aeronave é um Bell UH-1 Iroquois, universalmente conhecido como Huey, o helicóptero padrão de transporte utilitário e de tropas do United States military durante toda a guerra do Vietnã. O farol rotativo quadriculado em sua torre de madeira é um marcador padrão de obstáculo de aeródromo, usado para advertir os pilotos sobre um perigo fixo perto de uma pista de pouso ou heliplataforma durante operações com pouca luz, um equipamento comum em bases aéreas avançadas e depósitos de suprimentos no Sudeste Asiático durante os anos 1960.
