The historian's note
このシーンは20世紀半ばのアメリカ西部の農村高速道路を描写しており、おそらく遠く離れた町または関心地点を接続する州間高速道路または連邦高速道路の一部である。1950年代は、アメリカ合衆国全体で自動車旅行とインフラ開発の大幅な成長を示した期間であり、州間高速道路システムの完全な実装に先行していた。
