Qualcuno costruì questo palazzo su una sporgenza di montagna vicino alla frontiera persiana presumendo che una buona posizione difensiva e molta pietra scolpita avrebbero garantito la permanenza. La cupola e il minareto ancora si ergono a media distanza, facendo del loro meglio per dare un'impressione di autorità, mentre il primo piano è un labirinto di camere senza tetto i cui archi ora inquadrano nient'altro che erbacce e luce diurna.

Negli anni '60 il palazzo era stato abbandonato abbastanza a lungo da scoraggiare chiunque dal recintare le rovine più antiche davanti ad esso, e un visitatore poteva semplicemente arrampicarsi attraverso una porta che una volta significava qualcosa per qualcuno di importante.
