Alguien construyó este palacio en una cornisa de montaña cerca de la frontera persa asumiendo que una buena posición defensiva y mucha piedra tallada garantizarían la permanencia. La cúpula y el minarete aún se alzan en la distancia media, haciendo su mejor esfuerzo por dar una impresión de autoridad, mientras que el primer plano es un laberinto de cámaras sin techo cuyos arcos ahora enmarcan nada más que maleza y luz diurna.

Para los años 1960, el palacio había sido abandonado lo suficiente como para que nadie se molestara en cercar las ruinas más antiguas frente a él, y un visitante podría simplemente trepar a través de una puerta que alguna vez significó algo para alguien importante.
