この写真は、Catania、Sicily、Italyの Villa Bellini 庭園内のバンドスタンドと Ceres 像に至る中央プロムナードを描いている。
18世紀に設計され、19世紀に一般に公開された Villa Bellini は、Catania で最も古く、最も重要な都市公園の一つである。形式的な庭園、噴水、彫刻、そしてこの装飾的な鉄製バンドスタンドのような建築要素を特徴とする、壮大な市民空間として想定されていた。
この公園は、歴史的に住民にとって重要なレクリエーション地域、コンサートと公開イベントの会場、および都市環境からの静寂な逃げ場として機能してきた。
