誰かが縁石に膝をついてカメラを持ち、2本のクロッカスを撮影した。1960年代には、これは家庭の限られたカラーフィルム予算の合理的な使い方と見なされていた。花は去年の枯れ葉を突き抜けて、コンクリート歩道が粗雑な芝生の帯と接する継ぎ目のちょうどそこに出ていた。それは考えられる限り最もロマンチックでない場所であり、自然が実際に選んだ場所である。
