1970年代の未開発地を思わせる場所を小さな小川が蛇行している。ここでは人間の干渉や造園がほとんどなく、自然は自らの方法で形作られていた。砂質の岸辺は、水が時折意欲的であること、あるいは単に地面がそれほど協力的でないことを示唆している。

The historian's note
