The historian's note

過度に露出された空と深く影のある岩肌に対する強い視覚的コントラストは、1950年代のカラー写真に特徴的です。その時代のフィルム乳剤は、現代のデジタルセンサーと比較して、より限定的なダイナミックレンジを持っていました。露出選択がハイライトまたはシャドウのどちらかを優先する必要があることが多かった。
