The historian's note
Studebaker Corporation は 1852年に馬車製造業者として設立され、1902年に自動車事業にシフトして、1966年まで South Bend, Indiana で自動車を製造していた。1950年代までに、Studebaker はアメリカ合衆国で4番目に大きい自動車メーカーとなり、Big Three と競争するデザインと技術で知られていた。Studebaker の内部デザインとダッシュボードの文字は 1950～1954年のモデル年と一致しており、この時期は家族向け車を戦後の郊外家庭の信頼できる輸送手段として販売していた。写真の色調とフィルム種は1950年代半ばから後期のドキュメンテーション、おそらくディーラー、所有者、または企業のプロモーション・フレームを示唆している。
