The delicate efforts of arranging a colourful bouquet are apparently no match for feline curiosity, or perhaps a sudden craving for floral fibre.
This is the kind of domestic scene that played out in countless living rooms across the 1970s, where patterned sofas and a casual accumulation of reading material provided the backdrop for the confident assertion of animal will.
