The historian's note
この1950年代に撮影された写真は、Juneau, Alaskaの近くのMendenhall Glacierを観察している家族グループをとらえている。20世紀中盤以降、戦後の繁栄と改善されたインフラストラクチャにより、より多くの家族が遠隔地の自然の見どころへ旅行することが可能になったため、このような遠征はますます一般的になった。
