Minuscole figure punteggiano la sommità della Pyramid of the Sun a Teotihuacan, dopo aver completato l'ascesa negli anni 1970. Costruita intorno al 200 d.C., è l'edificio più grande di Teotihuacan e uno dei più grandi della Mesoamerica, centrale nella vita religiosa e cerimoniale della città.

Catturata negli anni 1970, l'immagine mostra la piramide in uno stato di scavo e conservazione parziali, con visitatori autorizzati a scalare la sua sommità. Questo periodo registrò un aumento del turismo verso i principali siti archeologici, riflettendo un crescente interesse pubblico nelle culture antiche.
