The historian's note

L'immagine mostra la Hasbrouck House, l'edificio principale del Knox's Headquarters State Historic Site a Newburgh, New York, durante gli anni 1970. Questa struttura storica servì come quartier generale del Maggiore Generale Henry Knox e di altri ufficiali dell'Esercito Continentale durante la Guerra d'Indipendenza Americana dal 1782 al 1783.

Il sito è significativo per la sua associazione con le fasi finali della guerra e il periodo in cui l'Esercito Continentale era accampato nella Hudson Valley.
