Un lézard a soigneusement choisi son perchoir sur une pierre réchauffée par le soleil. Sa fonction première pour la journée semble consister à rester parfaitement immobile, absorbant l'énergie solaire ambiante avec un air d'importance tranquille.
Quelqu'un, probablement muni d'un appareil 35 mm, a jugé cette pause reptilienne spécifique digne de documentation. Il a enregistré ce bref moment sans intérêt dans les années 1970, pensant peut-être que le lézard était sur le point de faire quelque chose véritablement intéressant.
Des décennies plus tard, la contribution profonde du lézard aux archives historiques se limite à son excellente posture et à son dévouement inébranlable à l'absorption de chaleur.
